How to Connect Mobile/Android Internet to Laptop/Computer via USB

Mobile tethering allows you to use your smartphone as a modem and share its internet connection with your PC or laptop. Here are the steps to set up mobile tethering:

  1. Enable tethering on your smartphone: Go to your phone’s settings and look for the “Tethering & Portable hotspot” option. Turn on the toggle for “Mobile hotspot” or “Tethering”.
  1. Connect your PC or laptop to your smartphone’s hotspot: On your PC or laptop, go to the Wi-Fi or Network settings and look for your smartphone’s hotspot. Connect to it like you would connect to any other Wi-Fi network.
  2. Configure the network settings on your PC or laptop: Once connected, you may need to configure your PC or laptop’s network settings to use the smartphone’s internet connection. Check the “Use this connection for Internet” option, and select your smartphone’s hotspot as the default gateway.
  3. Check the internet connection: Once everything is set up, you should be able to browse the web on your PC or laptop using your smartphone’s internet connection.

Note: The exact steps may vary depending on your smartphone and PC or laptop’s operating system. Also, keep in mind that tethering uses your smartphone’s data plan, so it’s important to monitor your data usage to avoid overage charges.
